COURT: STATS

DIARMUID UA DUIBHNE
Name Diarmuid ua Duibhne (beautymark, fate/Zero au)
Rank Pawn
LIVING Clubs, 1 (?? idk)
SILVER 00000

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE NOTES 184cm/85kg (quite beefy). In this AU he is 17, a bit younger than he appears in canon. He's very attractive, with designer-noted features being a "valiant brow", pouty mouth, and tareme as well as a slightly infamous butt. However these features are highlighted by the beauty mark under his right eye, which features a strong charm magic. Usually there is a bandaid over that mark, though. Have some fanart.

CHARM CURSE BASICS: When the mark is covered, it makes him seem extra attractive and cool and charismatic. When it's uncovered, this effect is exponentially worse. The curse is easily affected by any kind of magic resistance or strong will, so the more of either you have the less it does anything. For someone who has 0 magic resistance and is strongly pre-disposed to having those feelings towards him/being emotionally out of control, it can make them dangerously obsessed to the point of being willing to manipulate/force a relationship. A totally taken character will rationalize that they have/could have a mutual love and other things are just in the way, or even that he just needs convincing. Think the "yandere stalker" trope.

For someone less affected, the result can be anything from "whoah he looks cool/handsome" to a crush to any level of romantic love and/or sexual lust (sometimes romance without sexual connotations, but the worse the charm the less likely you'll find sexual attraction without emotional attachment). For those canon-familiar, in his AU it is not a gender-based effect, so any character is a candidate.

YOU ARE NEVER OBLIGATED TO PLAY WITH THIS EFFECT. Always feel free to consider your character resistant via will or just good luck! This should never get in the way of your OOC comfort levels, so go with whatever suits you best.
